Course DescriptionThis Certificate III in Brick and Block Laying tradePLUS program builds on Building and Construction (Multi Trade) skills, to extend students into specialised field of brick and block laying work. This course is endorsed and supported by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and Australian Brick and Blocklaying Training Foundation.
PathwaysStudents will gain skills appropriate to a defined pathway into a bricklaying apprenticeship.
Entry RequirementsCertificate I in Construction or Certificate II in Construction tradePATH. CITB Number.
Other RequirementsPersonal protective equipment.

The Training Centre is located adjacent to Mt Carmel College on the corner of Russell Street and Symon Street. Student car parking is available.
Dates and Times35 weekly sessions at Rosewater Trade Training Centre on Fridays from 08:40 until 15:00.
Commencement date 07/02/20.
Work Placement15 days
Structured Workplace Learning forms an integral part of the training at this level to reinforce industry standards and development of employability skills. In accepting the CITB subsidy for this course, students are obliged to complete 15 days of workplace learning.
