DescriptionIn this qualification you will gain the fundamental business skills and knowledge to successfully perform a wide range of duties in a business setting across diverse industries. During the course, you will have the opportunity to increase your skill in organising tasks, maintaining financial records, designing and producing business and desktop documents, working effectively with diversity and maintaining business resources. This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply a broad range of competencies in a varied work context using some discretion, judgment and relevant theoretical knowledge. They may provide technical advice and support to a team.

PrerequisitesSuccessful completion of Year 9. Students should have basic computing and time management skills and must use a laptop for this course.

Orientation DetailsAn Open Day will be held on Tuesday 4 September 2018 from 3.30 – 5.30pm at Portside Christian College Trade Training Centre. RSVP to Once accepted into the course there is an expectation for students to attend Orientation/Induction also held at Portside Christian College Trade Training Centre on Thursday 31 January 2019 from 3.30 – 5.00pm. This is compulsory for all students unless a prior arrangement has been made.
