In order to complete the whole certificate, students must enrol for the two year period. Students completing less than two years will be accredited with some VET Competencies towards the full certificate and gain the appropriate SACE Credits for the Competencies passed.
DescriptionThe course provides opportunities to develop skills in a range of Automotive Vocational pathways.
PathwaysSuccessful completion leads to Year 2 of this course, possible Apprenticeships and further study at MTA or TAFE.
PrerequisitesAn interest in the Automotive industry.
Special RequirementsAutomotive Program polo shirt (to be worn during session times) and access to IT for online learning. Students will need to bring a 3 ring folder note pad and subject dividers to each session.

SACE DetailsSACE Stage 1, 20 SACE credits
A minimum (assuming passing competencies) of 20 Stage 1 Credits and 20 Stage 2 Credits. More possible depending on competencies completed. This course will not contribute to an ATAR.
