DescriptionRegarding this RTO it is the school's intent to deliver. This course provides students with the opportunity to further develop the skills and knowledge attained during the Certificate II in Salon Assistant. The units focus on developing styling and design finishes through the use of specialist products and colours. This course is designated as a tradePLUS (SACE Stage 2) course.
PathwaysSkills development in personal care and hairdressing. Students will be encouraged to actively pursue employment or apprenticeship options.

Special RequirementsSalon shirt, hairdressing kit and combination lock (for locker) will be ordered on behalf of the student (at cost) and provided at the start of the course. An itemised cost breakdown will be included in the cost to students. These items will remain the property of the student. Black covered shoes, black trousers to be purchased by students prior to commencement.

This consists of a $100 (GST free) Regional VET fee and $143 (including GST) for a salon kit (if required), shirt and personal consumables, payable to your Home School. These items will remain the property of the student.

The Fee For Service (RTO cost) of this course will be $1,200 (GST free) - to be confirmed in December 2018. This will be invoiced to the Home School by the RTO.

Selection ProcessApplicants may be required to provide evidence of previous training in the Hairdressing sector and have a keen interest in personal services industries. Interviews will be conducted in November 2018.
Orientation DetailsStudents are encouraged to attend the information day on Wednesday 22 August, 3:30pm - 7:30pm, to speak to current trainees and lecturers.
