DescriptionThis course gives students an orientation to the workplace and the theoretical and practical knowledge to work within the media and creative industries areas. It is a hands-on course, with practical competencies and use of a state-of-the-art multimedia centre. The equipment and associated software provides students with skills and knowledge to create contemporary digital pieces. Digital Media represents the convergence of text, pictures, video and sound into a single form. This program develops skills to integrate digital video, sound, animation and text into one product, which can be delivered on Youtube, a website or USB.
PathwaysThis course is heavily based on industry pathways into media, film and television. Students can continue to Certificate III and Diploma in Screen and Film or Certificate III and Diploma in Interactive Media.
